I’ve downloaded all 4 obb data files and when I go to check them to move file to my device the rar files are empty any ideas?

I downloaded the Mod apk with the OBB files from various websites. When I install the modded apk without copying the obb file into the correct directory, the game says that I need to download the game content but when I click on download then the game crashes.
I then tried it after copying in the Obb files into the system and it did the same thing ??
I then downloaded the original game from the playstore. Copied the Obb and Data files, Uninstalled the playstore version and installed the modded apk this time using the obb and data from the playstore but… the modded version said that game content still needed to be downloaded ??? … I clicked on download but the game crashed again.
Finally, I downloaded the original apk from apkpure.. installed it but then it said that game content needed to be downloaded.
At that moment I was like “okay, it should be fine since its not a modded apk version” but… clicking on download made the game crash once again….
I tried the original apk with the playstore Obb and data files I downloaded previously.. that never worked, I then tried it with the OBB files downloaded with the modded version of the apk.. also had the same pop up that i needed to download game content, then crashed after I clicked download.
I’m running android 6.0.1 Marshmallow on a S7 edge that is not Rooted.
Cam you guys please help me figure out how to get the modded apk version of this game to work on my phone?
I keep getting the same thing happening.
Okay uninstall everything.Re-download the apk and files and make sure they are from the same source. Don’t start the game until you have copied the obb files in their respected location and when you do that the files have to be in the exact location they’re supposed to be in and named correctly or it won’t work. So the files will be placed in Internal Storage>Android>obb. In that location is where the folder with the two files will be placed and the folder must be named “com.naturalmotion.customstreetracer2” (without quotes) and inside that folder will be the two .obb files needed. If there are any extra files or folders delete them as they are not needed and make sure there is only one folder (Extracting .zip files will sometimes create extra folders) If the game is asking you to download content then you did something wrong.
i do this that i found on a youtube video,

When I buy a purple star car, it doesnt have the stars. The same goes for the yellow star cars.
I bought the yellow star cars with cash and the purple star cars with gold.
I also did bought the yellow star cars with gold and the purple with cash but when the cars are in my garage it doesn’t have the stars which means I cant fit extra parts on it.
I’m not sure if I am doing something wrong.

Latest update (1.18.3) is crap. Few things that have changed:
– Crew’s. I was kicked out of my current crew (not by the leader). Can’t join any other crew’s nor can I create my own crew. Therefore I can’t participate in any of the crew related cups/trials nor participate in the leaderboards.
– Stripping cars are no longer free (and now crazy expensive. $100,000 for T5 cars!) which makes it nearly impossible to fully upgrade a cars stage 6 and fusion parts.
– All purple starred cars are no longer available for purchase.
Mainly not being able to join a crew makes this game not nearly as enjoyable to play anymore. It will be greatly appreciated if these issues can be resolved.
Same happened to me got a message saying im banned and cannot join a crew or participate in events and etc.
Well I didn’t get banned. When you first install the game a standard message pops up saying your banned blah blah but I can still go to the crew hangout and play the non crew related online events. But when I try to join a crew or even create my own, nothing happens. No banned messages, no can’t join crew messages, nothing at all. Like I said being in a crew is half the fun of the game, I don’t even wanna play anymore.

quick update, largely working but not all cars can be purchased such as the zenvo.
for those of you struggling to tune tires and transmission – it’s a visual glitch. if you swipe the bottom of the screen, the icons appear and you can tune other settings too.
not banned yet, joined a crew. stripping is free so you can get lot’s of tuning parts.
paint and stuff at regular price still sadly.
1.17 hack not working normaly it starts the game saying whats hacks are on it don’t just strts up as normaly and no hacks are on no gold or coins set to 1 no anything its like normaly apk that’s not modded whats going on just wasted hours redoing my phone think it lucky patcher and rest and it not?

When I am install mod V2 APK the copy obb file into android obb of internal storage while I am starting the game it’s loaded and message pops on screen additional file is not installed download or quite what’s happened I don’t know can you help me its work before this update what happen now i don’t know PLZZ help and give solutions and makes new mod of new update so it can work I think soo
